Our Festivo Set contains the three building blocks to a great holiday pasta dinner: Angel Trumpet Pasta, Pomodoro Rosso Pasta Sauce, and a bottle of our Heritage Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Each one is made to work with the others, not around them. The pasta's hollow, fluted shape exists to perfectly catch the sauce. A sauce made with sweet, peak-season Tomatoes simmered low and slow with Montepulciano rosso vino, dark and rich enough to hold its own. A drizzle of Olive Oil cuts through it with a green and peppery bite, tying the whole dish together.

Inside This Set

Angel Trumpet Pasta
Tromba degli Angeli is a Flamingo Estate favorite: sculptural, trumpet-shaped, and built to catch sauce. It's made from one ingredient, organic durum semolina and water, pressed through a bronze die for a rough texture sauce can grip, then slow-dried for 19 hours to keep the wheat's flavor intact: nutty, slightly sweet, real. The hollow, fluted shape does the rest, scooping up everything it's paired with.

Pomodoro Rosso Pasta Sauce
We started with the sweetest sun-ripened Tomatoes, picked at the height of the season. Instead of reaching for the usual splash of wine to brighten things up, we went with a pour of full-bodied Montepulciano rosso vino, simmered down slowly until the wine stopped tasting like wine and started tasting like depth. A savory blend of herbs and vegetables, picked at peak flavor, rounded it out, leaving us with a dark, rich, almost meaty sauce.

Heritage Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The organic Olives in our Olive Oil are picked by hand and cold-pressed immediately to ensure crispness and rich antioxidant and polyphenol content. It contains our famous blend of Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, and Arbequina Olive varietals, which makes for a vibrant, peppery Oil balanced by softer fruit notes. Each bottle is harvested by a fourth-generation Olive farmer. Phil’s trees were grown from cuttings taken from some of the oldest and most renowned Olive groves in Europe, which produce Oils not easily found in this part of the world.
