Back for a limited time, this Soap Brick returns in support of the farmers of Hawai‘i, who have been affected by devastating Kona storms and severe flooding across the islands this month. Torrential rain and damaging winds have flooded fields, destroyed crops, and disrupted farming communities already working hard to sustain local food systems.

First introduced in our Hawai‘i Seasonal Subscription Box, this quickly became our most requested item. It is especially meaningful to us because it was part of the collection that first introduced us to the extraordinary farmers of Hawai‘i, and helped spark a deeper conversation about farming and distribution there, influenced greatly by the incredible work of David Leon.

Made with ingredients grown in Hawai‘i and sourced from local farms, this Soap Brick is a tribute to the bright spice of Ginger and the soft florals of the islands. A portion of proceeds will support the Hawai‘i Farmers Union Foundation’s flood response efforts, beginning with a $10,000 donation from the Flamingo Fund.
